November Writing Goals

BEST OF LUCK to those of you who are participating in NaNoWriMo this year! I wish I could join in on the fun, but I’ve got so much going on that I just can’t justify focusing on a new project.

But I do have a few goals this month, writing-wise!

Firstly, to finish my edits on The Vanishing Throne.

To give you an idea of how long it is, the first draft I completed is the same length as the finished version of The FalconerThe Vanishing Throne has a lot more going on with regards to world building, plot, and characterization, so it’ll be a good deal longer by the end of the month. My deadline on that is December.

TFN – a project I’m way behind on and needneedneed to finish by the end of the month. I’m hoping I can share something on this one soon.

TDL – my adult project for when I’m not working on The Vanishing Throne or TFN and I need to get some pages to my agent soon, though it’s looking more and more doubtful I’ll do that this month. SIIIIIGH.

TRS – a smaller side project I also needneedneed to have words written down by December yes i know i am dying

Likely, I will not be able to do all three of these, but I always aim high with my goals, so at least I have something to shoot for. I’m also making it a goal to try and write down some more thoughts on my inevitable resurgence of SAD (seasonal effective disorder), whenever it decides to rear its ugly head this year. I’m doing better now than I was at the same time last year, so I’m hoping it won’t be as bad? We’ll see.

Until next time!
